This training is a 2-day (1 day face to face) introductory to Phlebotomy course which consist of tutorial on essential theory and practical.
For Theory - Handout will be issued/ given access prior to training day for pre-preparation ( self-study).
A day with trainers on comprehensive theory session covering requisite technical and scientific background, duties, preparation and after care of being a phlebotomist.
This first face can be online or face-to-face based on preference.
Practical: This is classroom based-after the theory, followed by a day of Practical with mannequins (latest human-like) which covers practical blood taking skills. For Stage 1 Part A & B which Theory +Full Practical.

STAGE 2 ONLY - £285
Entry Requirement - Stage 1completion - Introduction to Phlebotomy.
This covers Phlebotomy Live Bloods Clinic Session (Stage 2), which takes place in an NHS facility and you are awarded "Certificate of Competency". on the note of being trained by NHS professionals.
During this stage,1 to 1 supervision, knowledge and skills will be measured/assessed against the competencies set out in the Skills for Health CHS132 National Occupational Standard for Obtaining Venous Blood Samples.
NOTE: Participants must be Hepatitis B vaccinated.
This may take 2-3 weeks of which dates will be issued for selection for attendance close to your booking location.
I.T Skills (Entry Level)
This is a course that will introduce you to the world of I.T step by step. It is suitable for beginners that do not have and knowledge on computer or I.T devices.
